I am excited to announce that I will be teaching two workshops through the UW Botanical Gardens. In September I will be teaching a very fun and interactive workshop on potato printmaking. Potato printmaking is a simple printmaking process that can be done easily at home with striking results. It is a great process to learn before the holidays for fun, hand-crafted gifts for the season. Please join me on September 7th from 10am-12pm at the Center for Urban Horticulture Douglas Classroom. Each participant will walk away with how-to knowledge on the technique and process, as well as a printed tea towel of their own design. The workshop will consist of a short lecture, hands-on instruction and plenty of time for crafting. I hope to see you there! Please go to the UWBG classes page for more information and to register. |
