I love screen-printing. I love it because of its accessibility. I love it because it is so immediate and can be done cheaply. I also love it because you can make a ton of something, which means its great for making gifts around the holidays. Over the years I have been privileged enough to be a part of quite a few print parties with Jenny Wittlinger of Wendu Ink. It is so fun to get together, burn a whole bunch of images onto a screen and watch the magic happen as plain t-shirts transform, and handkerchiefs become more than just a square piece of fabric to blow a nose in. As the holidays approach, I am looking forward to the print parties ahead and the fun that will ensue.
